14 Pakistani soldiers killed in separatist assault

QUETTA (PAN‘s southwestern province of Balochistan on Monday, officials said.

The separatists stormed the Frontier Corps (FC) checkpoint in the Lora Lai area of the province, a statement from the paramilitary force said. Security personnel have launched an operation in the area.  

The offensive was launched in the Samaolang neighbourhood on Sunday and the incident took place during the operation, local journalist Mustafa Zmaray told Pajhwok Afghan News. A high-ranking FC official was among those killed, he said.
