PUL-I-KHUMRI (PAN): Ninety local policemen were awarded certificates on completing two-month training in northern Baghlan province, an official said on Monday.
The individuals would be stationed in Dahan-i-Ghori district and Dand-i-Ghori area of Pul-i-Khumri city, police chief, Brig. Gen. Assadullah Shirzad, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the training remained focused on strengthening professional ability of the policemen and increasing collaboration with other security forces.
He added the interior ministry had approved 300 local police personnel for Dahan-i-Ghori district.
One of the graduates, Zmaryalai, said his monthly salary was 9,000 afghanis ($182.890).
