KABUL): Sixteen people were sentenced from eight to 20 years in jail on charges of drug, acid and morphine trafficking, the criminal justice task force (CJTF) said in a statement.
Hailing from Helmand, Badakhshan, Herat, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Laghman and Nimroz provinces, the individuals had been arrested with 249 kilograms heroines and over 45 kilograms of morphine, more than 550 kilograms of opium and 560 liter of acid, the statement said.
