Constitution violated since inception: MPs (Video)

KABUL 04 Jan, 2012 (PAN): Some Wolesi Jirga members on Wednesday said both parliamentarians and government officials had violated the country’s constitution since its approval in 2004.

Without a vote of confidence from the lower house of parliament, a number of acting ministers remained on the posts despite the passage of two years, Arian Yun, a female MP from eastern Nangarhar province, said.

Ministries including water and energy, women’s affairs, public health, urban development, transport and aviation, telecommunications and information technology and higher education are being operated by acting ministers./Pajhwok Ataullah khpulwok
