GHAZNI CITY (PAN‘s handicrafts were showcased at exhibition in southeastern Ghazni province on Wednesday, an official said.
Handicrafts of 30 females, who received a year-long vocational training, were displayed at the Women’s Affairs Department in Ghazni City.
Women’s Affairs Director Shukriya Wali told Pajhwok Afghan News the exhibition was funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
She promised they would build a handicraft market near the women’s training centre.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Governor Mohammad Ali Ahmadi called the exhibition a good initiative to helping poor women.
