KABUL‘s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in their second friendly match in the eastern city of Jalalabad on Saturday, an official said.
The visiting skipper won the toss and chose to bat in the 50 overs game played at the Amanullah Khan International Cricket Stadium, said Nusratullah Wafa, as ACB official.
Pakistan’s batting line collapsed in the 40th over, setting a target of 116 runs, which the hosts were able to chase in the 32nd over with four wickets in hand, Wafa said.
Afghan bowlers Hamza Hotak and Zamir Khan shared three wickets each and Samiullah Shinwari clinched two. Top scorers for the side were Karim Sadiq with 28 and Samiullah Shinwari, who was declared the man of the match, with 26 runs.
The third match would be played at the same venue on Monday.
