JALALABAD (PAN): Four mine planters were killed in an airstrike by international troops in the eastern province of Nangarhar, officials said on Sunday.
International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) aircraft targeted the men on Saturday night when they were planting roadside bombs in the Bar Sabar area of Pachiragam district.
Administrative head of the town, Azizullah Shinwari, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bodies of the victims remained at the site.
The ISAF media office in the eastern zone confirmed the incident, saying they had killed the militants after getting credible information about their activity.
