Dustom backs peace talks with Taliban

Addressing a conference participated by senior members of National Front of Afghanistan and a US congressional team, the Uzbek leader said the Taliban would continue to face residence until they stopped the violence.

He said the Taliban should not think the resisce against them would stop with removal some opponents.

“I ask all parties to the conflict, including Mullah Omar and Haqqani, to join the peace process and stop killing their brothers and destroying Afghanistan,” he said.
