JALALABAD (PAN): Two people were killed and as many injured when a bomb went off inside a music shop in the eastern city of Jalalabad on Saturday afternoon, an official said.
The music shop was blown up in the Daramsal Street, the governor’s spokesman, Ahmad Zia Abulzai told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He had no exact figure for the casualties but said an investigation had been launched.
Public health director Dr. Baz Mohammad Sherzad said they received four injured persons from the scene, but two of them later died at the hospital.
He said all the victims were civilians and the two injured were in critical condition.
Eyewitness Mohammad Mobin said he saw four injured people were rushed to the hospital after the blast.
