KABUL, the alliance said on Thursday.
The two servicemembers were killed on Wednesday following an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in eastern Afghanistan, the NATO-led troops said in a brief statement.
In line with its policy, ISAF neither revealed the nationality of the fallen soldiers nor the exact location of the blast. Mostly US soldiers are stationed at the eastern provinces.
So far in 2012, 217 multinational soldiers have been killed in different security incidents across the country. Last year, 566 NATO soldiers were killed in the country.
