ZARANJ (PAN-led troops in the Khashrod district of Nimroz province, an Afghan government official claimed on Tuesday.
Two men and as many women were killed during the predawn air raid on a civilian house in the Shash Aab area, the district’s administrative head told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Mohammad Hashim Khashrod said two children, aged between 8 and 10 years, were wounded in the operation that was conducted against a group of insurgents seen in the area.
But the ISAF confirmed the joint operation in Khashrod, saying that two men who wanted to attack the combined force were killed. The troops found a civilian’s body at the site.
On the other hand, Taliban’s spokesman Qari Yousaf Ahmad alleged the foreign troops killed a local shopkeeper, a prayer leader and a woman during the raid.
