KABUL, Turkey on Wednesday condemned multiple suicide attacks in Nimroz and Kunduz provinces.
“We have learned with deep sorrow that 42 people died and more than 130 people were injured in the attacks perpetrated at different locations in Nimroz and Kunduz provinces,” the embassy of Turkey in Kabul said.
In a statement, the embassy prayed for the departed souls and conveyed its condolences to the bereaved families. It wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
“We strongly condemn this attack aimed at disrupting the efforts toward peace, stability and prosperity in Afghanistan. Turkey will continue to stand by the Afghan people in this difficult period they are going through,” the statement concluded.
