Obama greets Karzai on Independence Day

KABUL’s 93^rd independence anniversary, the Presidential Palace in Kabul said.

On behalf of the Americans, Obama conveyed his most sincere congratulations to Karzai on Afghanistan’s Independence Day, a statement from Karzai’s office said.

Hailing the strategic cooperation pact between the two countries signed as a historic document, Obama reiterated the US commitment to a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan.
