BAMYAN CITY (PAN): The acting deputy police chief of central Daikundi province was among three policemen killed after their vehicle turned turtle in the province, officials said on Sunday.
The acting deputy, Hassan Akbari, was on his way to assess the security at Shekh Ali valley of Sang Takht district, when his vehicle plunged into the valley, deputy police chief Col. Mohammad Asif, currently in Kabul, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Asif said the mishap occurred due to bad road conditions and careless driving.
The deceased bodies were taken to Nili hospital, capital of Daikundi.
