KABUL): Robbers looted a retired colonel’s house at the 15th police district of Kabul and a Pajhwok reporter’s car was stolen on Thursday night in Ahmad Shah Baba Maina in Kabul.

“Five armed men entered my house at 3 am and put a pistol on my head, they then tied my hands and legs and locked my other family members in a room,” said Bismillah, a retired colonel.

He told Pajhwok Afghan News that the masked robbers stole his money, jewelry and other valuable goods from the house.

“I was not in when the robbers looted my house, they took away all the jewelry that was purchased for my wedding,” said Bahi Jan, the retired colonel’s son, who works in a private company in Kabul.

Meanwhile, Pajhwok reporter’s car was stolen by robbers at about 10 pm when he was visiting his friend’s house in Ahmad Shah Baba Mena yesterday. Abasin Zaheer said he had parked his car outside the house but was missing.

Security personnel said they have launched an investigation to arrest the robbers.
