KHOST CITY (PAN): A child was killed and eight others wounded in a bomb blast in front of the governor’s office in the capital of southeast Khost province on Thursday, an official said.
Provincial police chief Col. Muhammad Yaqoob told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place around 4 pm in Rabbani Park.
The bomb that was planted inside a drain killed the kid who was playing in the park, wounded two policemen and six civilians.
Babri Gul Memorial Trust Hospital authorities confirmed that a child died and eight were wounded.
The injured are in stable condition.
