In line with its policy, ISAF neither revealed the nationality of the fallen soldiers nor the exact location of the blast.
Mostly, American, British and Canadian troops are stationed in the Taliban’s southern heartland.
According to the website http://icasualties.org/, which tracks coalition forces casualties in Afghanistan and Iraq, so far 387 ISAF soldiers including 297 US soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan this year.
Last year, 566 foreign troops were killed in the country.
