KABUL” on Saturday opposed signing the security pact between Kabul and US, and said the presence of foreign military bases in Afghanistan was the signal for continuing of war.
The security contract that let 10,000 US troops to stay in Afghanistan beyond 2014, is nothing except fueling war, said Waheed Muzhda, spokesman of the party.
Stationing of foreign troops in homeland is stepping down the national and religious image of the Afghans, he said.
In the past 11 years, 40 countries could not bring peace, despite having 150,000 troops and spending around id=”mce_marker”trillion US dollar, so further expectation from them is useless, he said.
President Hamid Karzai had also clearly mentioned that US was not here only to fight against terrorism, but it has its own aims,” which is not clear even to me”, Muzhda said while quoting Karzai.
“The US government should step back from signing the agreement, as we had cited before too,” he advised.
