LASHKARGAH (PAN): Six armed insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried out by foreign troops in southern Helmand province, an official said on Sunday.
The raid was carried in Sragodar area on the outskirts of provincial capital on Saturday, police spokesman, Farid Ahmad Farhang told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He added the rebels were driving an explosive-laden vehicle from Greshk district to Lashkargah city.
Taliban spokesman Qari Yousaf Ahmadi said three foreign soldiers were killed after their armored vehicle struck a roadside bomb.
