Doctor shot dead in Helmand

LASHKARGAH (PAN): A doctor was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Lashkargah, the capital of southern Helmand province, an official said on Tuesday.

Dr. Abdul Hadi was killed on the way to his clinic killed by unidentified men on Monday night, provincial police official, Col. Mohammad Ismail, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The victim had no personal enmity and the incident was being investigated by police, Ismail said.
