ASADABAD (PAN): A man stabbed his spouse to death before setting her body on fire in eastern Kunar province on Wednesday, an official said.
A resident of Manogai district, Ishaq, was detained along with five other suspects after he committed uxoricide in Dara Khar village.
Provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Ewaz Mohammad Nazari, told Pajhwok Afghan News the victim’s charred body was sent to the Asadabad Civil Hospital.
