KABUL-UK meeting on Sunday, then inking a strategic cooperation agreement with Norway and later attending an Islamic countries conference in Egypt, his spokesman on Thursday.
The London meeting would focus on the Afghan government-initiated peace process and the ongoing international anti-terrorism campaign, Aimal Faizi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The first trilateral meeting was held in Kabul and the second in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in September last year.
At the previous meetings, leaders of the three countries pledged enhanced cooperation in combating terrorism in Afghanistan and Pakistan and bringing peace to Afghanistan, Faizi recalled, saying the UK emphasized on a strategic cooperation agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan in the last meeting.
“But the Afghans will never allow their government to sign such agreement with Pakistan, who they often hold in contempt and until their mind is changed towards that country,” Faizi said.
He said the Karzai-led government wanted Pakistan to release all Afghan Taliban (HPC).
Faizi said Afghanistan was willing to enter strategic cooperation agreements with many countries, including regional.
