SHIBERGHAN (PAN): Two intelligence operatives were killed and four others wounded during a roadside bombing in the capital of northern Jawzjan province on Saturday, an official said.
The blast took place in Khwaja Burhan village on the outskirts of Shiberghan around 4pm, when a patrol vehicle of the spy agents struck a roadside bomb.
Provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Abdul Aziz, told Pajhwok Afghan News the wounded were evacuated to the main provincial hospital.
Hospital Director Dr. Mirwais Amiri confirmed receiving two dead bodies and four wounded officials of the National Directorate of Security. He said one of the injured was in critical condition.
