The road was closed in Behsud district of Daikundi, Bamyan Natural Disaster Management Authority head Mohammad Raza Rifat told Pajhwok Afghan News. Hundred of vehicles remained stranded on the road, he added.
The latest snowfall has also clogged the route at another location in the Shibar Kotal area of the Yakawlang district in Bamyan, where 10 vehicles were stranded.
