ANA soldier killed in Badghis blast

HERAT CITY (PAN): An Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier was killed and two others were wounded in a roadside bombing in northwestern Badghis province, an official said on Saturday.

The incident happened late on Friday when a military vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the Qadis district, a spokesman for the 207th Zafar Military Corps, Col. Najibullah Najibi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.     

Three injured were evacuated to hospital but one of them succumbed to his serious wounds while the two others were in stable condition, he added.
