SHARAN (PAN): Three civilians were killed and seven others, including two policemen, wounded in a suicide attack in the Janikhel district bazaar in southeastern Paktika province on Sunday, officials said.
Former Janikhel district chief, Ihsanullah Sadat, who quit his job two years ago, was killed in the attack, a statement from the office of the governor’s spokesman said.
The injured were taken to the main district hospital and their condition is stated to be stable. According to the statement, the suicide bombing is under investigation.
