FARAH CITY (PAN): Three individuals have detained with 40 kilograms of opium in the Amardara district of western Farah province, an official said on Tuesday.
A Kalashnikov, a walkie-talkie, a van and a motorbike were seized from the detainees, the governor’s spokesman, Abdul Rahman Zhwandai, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the individuals, hailing from the Jiji village of Khak-i-Safid district, were arrested in Dahani area late on Monday.
