SHARAN (PAN): One civilian was killed and seven others were wounded in a suicide bombing in the Sarobi district of southeastern Paktika province, an official said.
Provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Dawlat Khan Zadran told Pajhwok Afghan News a shopkeeper was killed and seven civilians, including district development council head Sher Zaman were wounded.
He added the wounded were taken to hospital for medical treatment. However, the police chief would not comment on their condition.
Witness Mohammad Akbar said the incident took place in district bazaar, killed two people named Sadozai and Ameer Mohammad.
