HERAT CITT (PAN): In compliance with a presidential decree, two murderers of Ali Sina, an eight-year-old son of a businessman, were hanged early Saturday morning at the central jail in western Herat province.
Satisfied with the punishment, parents of the boy, who was killed last year after being kidnapped despite the payment of ransom money, said the move could serve as a lesson for others.
Accompanied by his spouse, Ali Sina’s father, Nasir Noori, an industrialist, thanked President Hamid Karzai for ordering the killers of his son to be hanged.
