<p dir="LTR">MAHMOOD RAQI (<a href="/en/pan" class="glossify-link">PAN</a>): The dead body of a radio journalist was retrieved from a water well in his home in the Najrab district of central Kapisa province, officials said on Tuesday.</p>

<p dir="LTR">Mohammad Muhsin Hashmi, who worked for the Voice of Najrab Radio, fell into the well after being shot killed in what appeared to be a family dispute, the town's administrative head, Abdul Wadood Haidari, told Pajhwok Afghan News. He said three family members of the slain journalist had been arrested for interrogation.</p>
<p dir="LTR">The radio station chief, Abdul Mutalib, said Hashmi, who worked on the technical side, was producer of "Marwareed-i-Honar”, a literary programme, but he hadn’t come to the station for the last 18 days. He said family members of Hashimi were refusing to comment on his death.</p>
