PARAKH (PAN): Four suspects were arrested on Monday in connection with a May 29 suicide attack that killed seven people at the governor’s house in central Panjsher province, police said.
The men were detained based on documents police had found in an explosives-laden car at the site of the suicide attack, police chief Col. Mohammad Qasim Paiman told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Without indentifying the detainees, he said they were residents of Panjsher.
A provincial council member, Mohammad Karim Abbas, confirmed the arrests, saying the prime suspect remained at large.
