ISLAMABAD (PAN’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday.
The bomb was tied to a motorcycle parked near the mosque and a temporary bus stand in Kacha Pakka area in the garrison town of Kohat, a senior police officer told reporters at the scene.
Dilawar Bangash, the district police chief, said five kilograms of explosive material was used in the bomb. “I can confirm the death of two people and seven people were injured.”
He added the bomb went off at a time when worshipers were coming out of the mosque after offering Zuhr prayers. The injured were evacuated to the district headquarters hospital.
