WASHINGTON (PAN in the war-torn country.

“We know for a fact that the ISI — the intelligence arm of the Pakistani military — is helping coordinate, directly activities with the Haqqani network in Afghanistan, that they’re conducting high-profile activities that are designed to kill and maim Americans and destabilise the country,” Senator Bob Corker said.

At a Congressional hearing on Afghanistan, Corker, a ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, emphasised on the need to fix the problem coming from across the border, known as Durand Line.

“We have got to rectify that problem. We have got to rectify this bipolar activity that’s taking place and that’s not in our US interest. Now Pakistan has security problem within the country.
