CHARIKAR): A man been killed and two others, including a district chief, wounded during separate road accidents in Ghazni and Paktika provinces, officials said on Saturday.

Orgun district’s administrative head Azizullah Hayaee was wounded late on Friday when his car flipped over in the Sultan Bagh area of Sarda Band in Ghazni, the district police commander said.

Abdul Wahid Kandahari told Pajhwok Afghan News Hayaee’s driver was killed in the incident that resulted from high speed. The district chief was in stable condition in a Kabul hospital, he added.

In central Parwan province, a man was killed when his car rammed into a loaded truck in Charikar, traffic officer Mohammad Younus said. A companion of the victim was critically wounded.
