KABUL): A suicide bomber has been detained in the Narang district of eastern Kunar province, the Afghan spy service said on Monday.
The would-be bomber was trying to conduct a suicide attack in the main district bazaar, a statement from the National Directorate of security (NDS) said.
In preliminary investigations, the intelligence agency said, the detainee had confessed to planning a suicide attack in Kunar. He was trained in Pakistan, the statement added.
