GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Seven passengers were killed and 17 others wounded when a public transport bus struck a roadside bomb in southern Ghazni province on Tuesday, an official said.
The 303 bus was travelling in the Larmi village of Maqur district when it hit the landmine around 10am, the district chief said.
Sahib Khan told Pajhwok Afghan News children and women facility in the area. Five were said to be in critical condition.
The bus, heading to Kabul troops in order to defuse a bomb.
The incident comes five months after three civilians were killed and eight others wounded in a similar incident in Noghi area of Ghazni.
