KABUL Cricket Board (ACB) officials of his country’s long-term assistance and promised efforts for promoting links between ACB and the Australian Cricket Board, an official said.
Australian Ambassador to Afghanistan, Jon Philp, who visited the ACB office at the Kabul International Stadium, held talks with ACB Director General Shahzada Massoud and Chief Executive Dr. Noor Mohammad Murad.
An ACB spokesman Aziz Gharwal said Philp praised the ACB for its achievements and efforts for development of the game in Afghanistan despite paucity of resources.
“Due our achievements in a short span of time, officials from countries where cricket is played come to us and promise cooperation,” Murad said.
