JALALABAD (PAN): Police have seized 110 kilograms of heroin in the Surkhrod district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Thursday.
Police spokesman Col. Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal told Pajhwok Afghan News the heroin was recovered from a car in Naghrak area last night.
A man was detained in connection with smuggling the drugs to Jalalabad, the provincial capital, he said. Police also impounded the car.
