LASHKARGAH (PAN) troops have come under attack in southern Helmand province, an official said on Friday.
Omar Zwak, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the foreign soldiers were attacked with a bomb in Lashkargah, the provincial capital.
Although Zwak had no information about casualties resulting from the roadside bombing, a source in the police headquarters said two NATO-led soldiers were wounded.
As usual, the Taliban claimed responsibility and said 18 foreign troops had been killed and many others wounded in the car bombing.
