PUL-I-KHUMRI (PAN): Seven people were killed during a clash between two rival families over a land dispute in the Baghlan-i-Markazi district of northern Baghlan province, police said on Tuesday.
The clash took place in Kandaharyan village on Monday evening, with both sides losing their men, the district police chief, Syed Mir Ahmadzai, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the rivals were cousins and seven of them from both sides had been arrested.
A local, Arbab Mohammad Hassan, said the fight began after an argument between the two families as part of the dispute.
