KABUL): Five Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers have been killed in separate incidents in different parts of the country, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Wednesday.
Four of the soldiers were killed and one wounded during a bomb blast in the Khak-i-Sufaid district of western Farah province. A fifth soldier died in a security incident in the Sangin district of southern Helmand province.
A statement from MoD said several armed rebels were killed and weapons and ammunition seized during separate operations in various parts of the country.
