<p>KHOST CITY (<a href="/en/pan" class="glossify-link">PAN</a>): Three intelligence agents were killed in a bomb explosion in the capital of southeastern Khost province on Thursday noon, an official said.</p>
<p>An official, who did not want to be named, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomb hit a vehicle of National Directorate of Security (<a href="/en/nds" class="glossify-link">NDS</a>) personnel at 12 noon.</p>
<p>He said three NDS operatives were killed and four civilian wounded in the blast that rocked the Biland Manzal area of Khost City.</p>
<p>Baryalai Rawan, the governor’s spokesman, confirmed the incident and said the explosives had been attached to a motorcycle. He also verified the three NDS fatalities, saying another two were wounded.</p>
<p>Elsewhere in the troubled south, two civilians were wounded in a blast in the Panjwai district of Kandahar province. The governor’s office said the explosion happened in Zangawat area. </p>
<p>Separately, a traffic incident in Maiwand district left six injured on Wednesday when a truck and a passenger vehicle collided.</p>
