PUL-I-KHUMRI (PAN airstrike killed two suspected militants in the Nahreen district of northern Baghlan province on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The airstrike took place around 3pm in Dodkash area, a stronghold of insurgents linked to the Hezb-i-Islami, Baghlan police chief Brig. Gen. Asadullah Sherzaid told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said those killed in the strike believed to be Gulbadin Hekmatyar-led HIA fighters.
A resident of the area, Haji Mohammad, said they heard the bombardment, but had no information about casualties.
There has been no comment on the strike from any insurgent group.
