TARINKOT (PAN): Six inmates have escaped from prison in central Uruzgan province by breaking a wall of the facility, an official said on Saturday.
Abdullah Himmat, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the prisoners were involved in criminal cases. But he had no further details.
Earlier, five inmates had escaped from the Uruzgan juvenile correction centre.
