CHARIKAR): Hundred of residents staged a rally in Bagram district of the central Parwan province on Thursday, asking authorities to nab the killers of a shopkeeper and award them exemplary punishment.
Marching through the Ghulam Ali bazaar of the district, around 300 locals denounced the murder of the shopkeeper, local council head Ghayasuddin Bakhshi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Three armed robbers shot Mohammad Aleem to death after he offered resistance to robbers last evening, he said, adding the outlaws managed to flee after the incident.
The rally ended after the town’s administrative head, Abdul Shakoor Qudusi, promised the killers’ arrest.
