HERAT CITY (PAN): Police on Sunday rescued a kidnapped son of a businessman and detained nearly a dozen suspects in connection with his adduction during an operation in the capital of western Herat province, an official said.
The operation was carried out in the sixth police district of Herat City, police spokesman Col. Abdul Rauf Ahmadi told Pajhwok Afghan News. The detainees included six women, he said.
The boy, the son of a businessman named Milad, had been kidnapped 50 days ago. He was held captive an underground place, the police official said.
