ISLAMABAD (PAN’s northwestern city of Peshawar, the capital of troubled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, officials said.
Peshawar police chief Rahim Shah said the explosives weighing between 25 and 30 kilograms had been planted in a vehicle that exploded inside the workshop in the Scheme Chawak area.
At least five cars parked nearby were destroyed in the explosion that also caused damages to several buildings.
A spokesman for the Leady Reading Hospital (LRH), Jamil Shah, told Pajhwok Afghan News they had been delivered six dead bodies and nine injured people from the scene. The dead included two children, he said.
The blast comes hours after a huge bomb planted at an under-construction flyover was detected and defused on the Charsadda road area.
