KABUL (Pajhwok): Interior Minister Mohammad Omar Daudzai on Wednesday said efforts to revive the stalled peace talks with the Taliban would continue whether or not the Bilateral Security Agreement (BSA) was signed.
Addressing a seminar in Kabul, the minister said the government was ready to initiate peace talks with the rebels under all circumstances.
The four-day seminar that began here today involves provincial police chiefs to discuss security for the April elections.
Daudzai, however, said the BSA would guarantee a long-term international community’s cooperation with the Afghan government and security forces.
