GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Four people were killed and eight others wounded in separate incidents of violence in southern Ghazni province during the past 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.
Three civilians were killed and as many others wounded as a gas cylinder exploded in a shop in Nawar district, Deputy Governor Mohammad Ali Mohammadi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A policeman was wounded as the bomb he was trying to defuse went off in Ghazni City, the provincial capital.
Civil Hospital Director Dr Baz Mohammad Himmat confirmed receiving three wounded people, including two policemen and a civilian, from the site.
Elsewhere in the province, one child was killed and two others were wounded in a separate blast in Andar district. District chief, Qasim Desiwal, blamed the Taliban for planting the bomb in Atal area.
