KABUL militants from southeastern Khost province have been detained, the Afghan intelligence service claimed on Friday.
In a statement, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) identified the detainees as Hazratullah, Rahimullah and Ihsanullah — residents of Sabari district.
The spy service accused the trio of involvement in killing the Sabari district intelligence officer along with three security personnel.
Without giving any date for the arrests, the NDS said the men had confessed to their crime during preliminary investigations.
